BRA Battle Ready Armor

Posted on | August 25, 2010 | 5 Comments

I love Target, but lately they’ve made some dumb moves. But when it comes to customer service. I love them. Why?

I bought a few bras for one of my daughters. She didn’t like them. I (usually) always save the receipt, but somehow I misplaced this one. Oh well, I’ll return them without.

I’m sure I’m just really behind on this technology, but I have to share this with you. They scanned the bar code on the bras and swiped my credit card. Sure enough, their system was about to tell me that I bought the bras there. I was given a full refund.

I love Target!

I know you won’t believe this, but I’m still working off of the meal plan. Tonight was a grilled ratatouille. I know, I know. Carcinogens. I don’t care. The weather is amazing, I’ll just have to take the risk.

Tonight’s recipe was super easy.

1 small eggplant
1 medium zucchini
1 red onion
1 red pepper
2 medium tomatoes
Fresh basil

All I did was slice everything. Brushed evoo on with a little salt & pepper, and then it was all sent to the grill. I intended to make brown rice, but the kids talked me out of it. It was their 1st day of school and so they felt they deserved white rice. I’ve learned to pick my battles. I just hope the new “battle ready armor” suffices.

Oh wait, I garnished with a chiffonade of basil and my usual balsamic vinegar. The recipe called for red wine vinegar, but I only have balsamic. Same thing, right?

I just read that white rice is a food ‘never to eat.’ What? My kids won’t touch brown rice! All things in moderation, right?

I know. What should we do? Maybe we should meet and discuss over drinks.

Be patient….the day will come that they will prefer the nutty texture of brown rice.

I know. It took me until I was 30ish. I am lucky that they love nutty, seedy, whole-wheat bread.
